The Story

Growing up in New York was the greatest opportunity for me to really show my creativity and not be judged. Being surrounded by diversity molded me into who I am today. With a strong family foundation and 100% support from them, I am able pursue my dream of cooking and baking.

It all started when my Nana taught me how to cook eggs at the age of 6. Then my dad would share with me little tips on how he cooked certain things. My mom… let’s say she’s is not the greatest chef, but she makes for a wonderful sous-chef, helping me in the kitchen.

As my wondering "mind grew," I moved from watching cartoons to being hooked on the Food Network. From a young age and on, I was fascinated by all the different flavors and great desserts you could make with just a little sugar and spice, and realized that I wanted to know more to be able to create more.

I started my adventure by purchasing books of all kinds and started trying out all kinds of recipes - learning about what seasonings and foods went well together, and then had enough intuition to take things into my own hands. I started creating little recipes of my own, pouring for hours or days to get the right combinations of ingredients and taste.

Whenever I'm unhappy, antsy or I need a "pick me up", I know exactly where my happiness is.

I am a full-time student and volunteer – Love ya !
